Gymnastics

Today was the first day of a gymnastics class we signed up for summer. Jane didn't warm up to it until she did her first tumble roll, and after that we could hardly keep up with her. They did some jumping, some balance beam-ing, and at little time on the bars (bar) at the end. I took some cute pictures, but this little video of her waiting for her turn on the bars cracks me up the most. She's in the purple shirt.

Bananas, yum!

I decided to see how Colin did with small banana pieces. He's a fan!

Toothie

The other night Michael texted me to say that Colin had cut his first tooth!  It's on the bottom, but you can't quite see it in this photo.

Colin talking

*Dad, I just did a few posts so be sure to scroll down and see if there's more you haven't seen yet.

These past couple of weeks, Colin has started rolling all over the place.  He's not crawling exactly, but he can push himself backwards and get stuck under the couch pretty good.  He can also hold himself up on his hands, and then stick his tush up in the air, so official crawling is almost here.  (Not that he needs it - he can really move around.)

In the last few days he's also started doing some adorable talking.  He likes to say "Ba ba ba ba BLAH."  It's hilarious and cute.  I took a video the other day, but I did it wrong so it is sideways.  Sorry.

5/19 - 5/24, including our anniversary

Jane and me snuggling

We cut Jane's hair yesterday a little.  Here's the before

Here's the after:

Our anniversary was also this week.  9 years now, it just seems crazy.  We went to Olive Garden and took the kids.  It was after a very long day so we were all a little pooped.  But the kids were both so well-behaved, it was a great anniversary gift.

Colin is always happy. :)

5/12 - 5/18

On Mother's Day for some reason, this is the only picture taken of me and one of my kids.
I took it sneakily in church to send to Daddy at work.

Jacque invited us over one day when she had her backyard pool set up.

Jane and Ian had fun splashing around.

This is just my cute boy.

And my cute girl styling her sunglasses in the car.

5/5 - 5/11

Here are some pictures from the last week.

This is Jane squishing the kitty. There is muffled meowing coming from him. It was pretty funny.

One warm day Jane was playing outside with water and Colin and I watched her from the grass.

Jane sleeping in my bed one morning

This is Colin wearing his adorable puppy-pirate shirt and a big smile

For Mother's Day we took Mom to her favorite restaurant and lots of sushi was had by all.

Strollin'

Last night we went for a walk, but Jane wanted to go on a RIDE! She and Colin both got to ride to the park. :)
Colin had lots of fun watching Jane on the swings. (Jane had fun, too)

Colin cuteness

Most of these are from yesterday, with Colin being a big cutie. The one of him and me cuddling was taken right before he wopped me in the face with a spoon and gave me a bit of a black eye. The one with him playing with a duck is actually Jane very gently putting the duck in front of him so he can play with it. So cute.

Front runner

We've been wanting to try out the train that now runs from Provo to salt lake called front runner. We decided to give it a try today. When we got to salt lake we walk around temple square and the new mall they built. We had some lunch and then headed back south on the train. It doesn't sound like much but we were pretty pooped by the end. :-)
These pictures are super out of order but I can't fix them at the moment. Just know if we look perky that was at the beginning of the day, lol.  - okay this is later and they are in order now.

We are home now and Jane just said out of nowhere, "Mom?  Thank you for taking me on the choo-choo train."
